Shy boy who loves a cuddle …

Meet Bucky

Bucky is a two year old greyhound (born 07/05/2022) who has crossed the Irish Sea in the hope of a better life.   He is fully vaccinated (including kennel cough) neutered, microchipped and has received both flea and worm treatments, so is good to go.

Bucky has never raced so is considered a “failed racer”.
Initially on arrival Bucky was a little shy, but so wanted to trust us and in the short space of time he has been with us he is now a happy and reasonably confident boy.

When we sit with him in the paddock he loves nothing more than a cuddle. Bucky just wants to please and so deserves a forever home.

Bucky is black, so will probably be overlooked by potential new owners – there so many black greyhounds for re-homing, but just look into his eyes and you will see what we see.

He enjoys his food and time running in the paddock and is always up for a nice brush.

If you feel Bucky may be the dog for you please get in touch, as he would love to meet you.

Bucky cannot live with cats and any children must be over eight years old for us to consider re-homing.
